A.B Stephens repair departments are staffed with industry experts trained extensively for repairing your instrument. We handle most repairs in house and work with our manufactureres to do warranty work in our local shop when possible. We are equipped to do piano, guitar and electronic repairs

GUITAR REPAIR:

Jeff Glover has been repairing stringed instruments since the mid 1970's, specializing in all phases of acoustic and electric guitar services except refinishing.  He performed A.B. Stephens repairs from 1981 to 1996, moved to another store in 1999 and returned to A.B. Stephens in 2001.

He is especially adept at structural repairs such as broken necks and brace repairs, bridge resetting, neck resetting, nut and saddle replacement, electronic repairs, setups and hotrodding of acoustic and electric instruments.  He is the only person in the N. Alabama and surrounding areas offering ivory for nuts and saddles, as well as bone and fossilized mammoth ivory.

All brands are serviced including Martin, Gibson, Fender, Taylor, Gallagher and Epiphone.  Custom work is available such as pearl inlay, lacquer touch up, brace scalloping, restoration and accident damage.

Refretting is offered utilizing the most modern compression fretting techniques and a wide variety of fret sizes and shapes for all brands and styles of guitars, banjo's and mandolins.

All work is guaranteed for a period of 1 (one) year unless otherwise noted.
